Hi guys, looking to get back into a TVR, there are a couple I am looking at viewing but want to go prepared, is there a simple way to confirm if the car is a 400 or a 450 please? I know you can look at the badges on the car/engine but I wonder if there is any non applied part way to tell.

Are there any differences on 450's or are the specs pretty much the same?

What is the going rate for a nice 450 Chim at the moment?

Thanks in advance for the info, I am really looking forward to hearing that sound again!

V5C document will list the engine number and the capacity.

Good 450 seem to be going for approx £8500 upwards private and £10000 upwards from dealer. As said the engine capacity will be on V5

Cheers, the one I am watching is expensive from those figures but still worth a look, I can offer a price and it is up to them I guess.

Does the 450 feel quicker than the 400? I had a sweet 400 a while back but it always felt like it needed a touch more..

Thanks for the replies!!
