Not sure, but doubt it. We really are out in the fields on this one, if I remember it correctly, it's an overflow rutted grass car park and getting to the track will be interesting for some Britcar competitors !!!I've never been forced to operate from this location before and personally, I see loads of issues arising in getting pit equipment and cars to the track, and if we don't have power, then life becomes even more difficult. Add to this the snotty attitude one is bound to get from the F2 teams in the garages when we all camp in the pit lane and the expression a bridge to far comes to mind. If the weathers fine then that's one thing, but imagine the situation if it's pissing with rain and or our car park location becomes water logged.

A quick scan on Google earth suggests that it is indeed a rutted field. I wonder what is wrong with the outer paddock?
To be 100% fair, we may not have an option but to miss this one as we are waiting for a new Quill shaft to arrive from Oz, we are also having the gearbox checked over in case we damaged it when we had the shaft failure. Having said that, I don't really fancy the Brands GP event based on the way we would be forced to operate when measured against the very full race fees payable and the timings of the Britcar sessions/races. based on the facilities offered etc, an all in race entry fee of £500 would still have me thinking twice 
I can see the class 1 and 2 cars having severe difficulty in navigating to the paddock through the field, especially if the weather is bad. Fingers crossed its dry at the very least.
Still, looking forward to making the most of the GP circuit, should be a good race. We need to compete as we have missed the majority of the championship so far through circumstances outside of our control.

To be fair, this is how I read the info. This is a grass carpark and there is PLENTY of room in the outer, upper and lower paddocks. I've done many races from there with big headliners (A1GP, DTM etc) and room has never been a problem.The real issue for me is that knowing brands we wont be able to take vans / support vehicles into the paddock for the race which means that I have to somehow lug 500L fuel, 16 wheels and tyres, spares, 4 dump churns, tools, air bottles, air bottle compressor etc. etc. all put them ALL in a LIVE pit lane (agree on the F2 point made above, cant see them clearing a space).
Remind me how big and wide that pitlane is?
Lets hope its dry, lets hope no one comes into the pitlane on fire....whoosh!
Could well be worth dropping this one on both cars, as much as we love the track....

I agree now that I've looked at it again, but it's still something of a problem if we can't have support vehicles where we are pitched for as has been said above, how the hell are we going to get all our stuff at least close to the pits ?? The overall scenario is not as bad as I first thought, I suppose I should have known that nobody in their right mind would have put us in a rutted field, but then again !!!!Sorry to have mislead on this particular aspect, but there are still a number of issues to resolve if we are to have a reasonably straight forward race weekend, anyone fancy a round of golf on Saturday as after 40 mins qualifying,there is bugger all else to do apart from paying wages, sustenance and hotel bills for the support staff who will be hanging about for the rest of the day !!
We will have the race centre in the bottom corner by e fence near the diner, alongside Dunlop, the teams will radiate out from there but we are waiting on the final plan from MSV. We will be having a bbq after qualifying in the race centre to encorage all the teams to let their hair down a bit together.
When we received the votes on which circuits to go to in 2012 BHGP was one of the most popular requests, as advised at the time we can only get a date on this circuit as a support race to someone so there was never going to be any chance we would get in the garages, as per previous years when we have been there.
If anyone needs to rent golf buggies or trollies to transport tyres, spares, personnel and fuel into the pitlane please contact the office as James is compiling a list of local suppliers. Thr production cup racers manage every weekend, im sure with a bit of planning we can all get through an awkward, but potentially great fun weekend.

Its Brands that are usually a pain with Paddock access that the problem.
I'd be interested in renting a buggy with trolleys.
