Right gentlemen ....

Goodyear eagle tyres are getting a little low on the edges.

I have been looking around other TVR cars and most that I have come across have the same.

Has anyone got any up to date ideas and thoughts ie new yoko ad08 etc.

Fast road ..... No track at the moment and as sticky as toffee on a blanket.

Let moans and groans commence.

Fast road I'd recommend the Toyo R1R. Same compound as R888 but more grooves for rain and lots and lots of grip.

I've had Toyo T1R in the past and that's a good tyre although couldn't cope with my 4.3. I've also read on here good things about the Goodyear Assymetrics being a good all round tyre although never tried it.

I have the newer Goodyear Asymetrics, they are definitely a better tyre than the original Goodyear F1s (although they don't look as sexy).

Have fitted Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas to the Sag recently, would say they are the equal of the Goodyear Assymetrics that were on it before in the dry and better than them in the wet. Also come in cheaper which always helps.

Seconded for the Toyo's, I run T1-R's though, seem good all rounder in wet and dry weather and pretty long life. make sure you get the R's though and not the T1-S's

Another option, though not often quoted by TVR owners is the BF Goodrich G-Force Profiler 2.
I run them on my T350 and they're a vast improvement on the old Eagle F1s I had before them.
