DB9 20inch alloys upgrade,detailing and de-chroming

I have started a few threads on the above subjects over the past few months so thought I would finally post some pictures (hopefully they will come out ok)
The car has just been detailed by Francis of Emerald detailing and what a difference he has made to the bodywork.It has brought the bodywork up to as new condition and I would highly recommend owners to get it done.Thanks for all the time and effort you put in.Shame I can`t show it off at Hever Castle.
Alloys are 20 inch and no rubbing on the wheel arches.They actually seem to give a more comfortable ride and are less jittery when cornering.Maybe the tyre change of course.
De-chrome was done by myself and on closer inspection could do with a tiny bit of tidying up but I think it offers an alternative view on the chrome trim.
All of these mods can be returned to original spec if and when I sell the car unless someone wants to make me a sensible offer on a mint set of 15 spoke 19inch upgraded DB9 alloys and tyres.
I know this is not to everyone`s taste but it gives me something to tinker with instead of messing around with golf clubs.

The alloys were done by Project X in Clevedon,the detailing done by young Francis of Emerald detailing and the de-chroming done by none other than young moi in 45mins in my garage.

I have the same 15 spoke alloys on mine and I hate them, cleaning them drives me to insanity, If I ever see a set of sports pack wheels at reasonable cost I will jump at them. Car's looking great by the way.

The car looks much better in the flesh, especially since Sime talented young chap worked his magic on it. Shame the sun wasn't out to play in the pics.

Those wheels are so easy to clean and the black with black with black with black and a little bit of black looks good.

Plus, you should see water running off that roof now!

Top bloke, lovely car and nice and cosy garage to work in.

I've counted, recounted, been to the pub a couple of times and counted again and I can still only count 10 spokes per wheel.
I've obviously not drunk enough.
Are you sure they're the same 15 spokes?

The chrome would break it up nicely imo. Do you have any 'before' photos to compare it to?

Not a fan of the wheels, I'd have gone for DBS wheels personally. Is it just me or do they make the front brakes look small too?

As requested by George this is the before picture
I will also post a rear clear lenses picture for those wanting to see the difference.
Please bear in mind that the car car be returned to standard DB9 spec in around 2 hours including change of wheels.
Screwing up Paddys hard hard would take slightly longer.
I would highly recommend his treatment for the soft tops as it works a treat.

Tarks - beautiful car - I must say I'm a contrast man, so I prefer the chrome.

It would also match the clear lenses better.

Have a great day at Hever Castle those that are going, I am jealous, will be getting a soaking in Ireland on a golf course.

The dechroming works well in this case, I think. Somehow makes the car look more aggressive.
