Advice regarding Disabled leaner driver - where to start?

Hi guys,
My wife-to-be who's paraplegic has expressed a desire to start learning to drive.
Now try as I might I'm stumped when it comes to trying to find information about how to get her started.
First thing I tried to do was track down a local'ish (Staffs/West Mids) instructor with a hand control equipped car - google appears not to be my friend on that one....

The DVLA and DSA sites doesn't seem to offer much advice either.

And Disabled Motoring UK and The DIsabled Motorist Federation don't seem to hold much info on there sites ether.

Are ther any PH'ers who could offer some advice please?

Speak to BlackVanDyke.. I suspect she knows more about this subject than most.

Call BSM as they have trained instructors and have modified cars.
