Hi Chaps,
Am about to pull the radiator and replace the fan on my wedge and was wondering if any one could recommend a fan or twin set up and where to get them from.
I was intending to get rad recored so the dimensions are all the same.
Is ther a specific kenlow or clover fan set up any one could recommend and where best to get them.
Any help would be great.

Hi Mate..I think a puller fan which goes on to the engine side of the rad would be your best option..Kenlowes do have reversible blades and if poss get either a big fan and possibly a rad cowling or twin fans on a rad cowling..If you use a single fan DONT use the fan ties that go through the rads fins for fixing as they damage the rad..A thermostatic control would be a good investment which can then be set to the temperature of when the thermostat has opened fully or a few degrees thereafter..You shouldnt need an overide switch if you cooling system is efficient..when you use twin fans they have to be wired in series then you could have an overide switch..If you cant find a cowling for the rad try to use fan brackets and get the fan as close as possible on the face of the rad..

If you need a link i will dig one out but Demon tweeks..Merlin motorsport or Holden classic car supplies will sell the relevant bits, I think the fan brackets were for an oil cooler and i got them from Demon tweeks...Cheers..Ziga

I know it different (taimar with low wide rad) i fitted twin 8" fans rated at 120w and also fitted a kenlowe temp sensor. My fans kick in about 92-95' and work well :-) mine are sat with the fan casing touching the red fins and blades about 5mm away.

Each fan is wired to individual relays and also all that system is directly wired from and to the battery via fuse box to try and eliminate failure.
