Insurance approved repair company or Main Dealer?

I had a small bump this morning as some bint decided to cut in accross me on a roundabout to get to her exit.



Car is going through insurance and they have said I should use one of their approved repairers. I would prefer to use a main delaer and have been told to get 2 quotes. Shall i use their company or shall i use a main dealer.

Would there be any pitfalls in using the company of my choice?

id deffo use the dealer or somewhere youve chosen after looking at thier work , the approved place will just be somewhere theyve bullied into working for peanuts

they'l try to suggest the approved place is where you have to go but its not so
