Folks,
Put a new custom exhaust on my car and the tips (four of em!) have the branding of the exhaust on them. I think it's a bit ugly and was wondering if anybody has any clues as to the easiest way to get it off? Wondering if I could polish it off somehow, or if there's a particular product that would ease the process? It's the usual branding, not etched in, looks like a transfer or print of some type.
Any help appreciated!

What are the tail pipes finished with? If they're chromed then any attempt to take the branding off will probably also take the chrome off.

The Milltek logos on mine had pretty much worn off after 4 years of polishing with Autosol biggrin

T-Cut will take any stickers off without harming the Chrome, otherwise WD-40 is good at disolving the glue without harming the surface (the stickers will just slide off).

I imagine they're probably just polished Stainless Steel, in which case you could use emery cloth.

Stickers? I'm guessing the logos will be either acid or laser etched on.

Thanks for the help guys.
They're not stickers - it's like the tip is shiny but the name is sort of a matt effect.
They are stainless steel, really shiny so maybe the emery cloth idea is the one to try.

In that case I'd try emery cloth. You might need to use a relatively coarse cloth for cutting then a finer one for re-polishing, or you might find that a fine one and some elbow grease will do the job on its own.
