Stiff gear selections and slipping clutch
Discussion
I've got a couple of problem symptoms on my Chim at the moment.
Firstly the clutch began to slip a little about 2-300 miles ago, not severe except when full beans given in 3rd/4th the clutch would slip a little.
Now also selecting 1st gear engine running has become stiffer than before.
What I'm puzzled about is the clutch bite point is good, ie quite high, ie I have a lot of clutch.
Question is what do the symptoms elude too ?
New clutch plate needed ? (due to it being worn down or oiled up)
New Driven plate needed ? (due to scored/worn face or weak springs)
New Master/slave cylinder ? (poor sealing/leakage)
