Personally based on the colors alone is go for gt3 non RS but it's all personal taste I guess and the RS is pretty special .
That won't hang around long at 911v

Aye but you're talking to the man who's 911s have been speed yellow & orange!

I guess customers might think you're as bit of a tt if your car has orange wheels mind you....

Apart from the wide body, what are the differences between GT3 and RS models?

If they both stack up, the RS is a better purchase.

You are making a huge assumption that both cars are of the same quality and in similar condition.

I would bet a fair amount that they arent.

In this instance I would go for the GT3 over the RS based on the dealer and description.

That said, 'nasty skeletons' in the cupboard is tautology....

Well I haven't got a clue what tautology means, but like it or lump it 997.1RS' are low £60's.

997.1 gt3's are mid £50's.

So I think it's a very tough question

GT3 unless you track very often IMO.

I'd feel an idiot getting out of that particular RS, but the standard GT3 is comparatively classy for something with a bloody great wing on the back.

That particular car at 911V looks very nicely specced.

Henry, could we have a list of desirable professions for prospective sellers?

Good:
Doctor
Surgeon
etc.

Bad:
Chimney sweep (esp. w/ sand beige)
Sewage plant pipe clearing diver
etc.

I'm joking - looks a lovely car. I'd go standard GT3 between these two.

I'd go for the RS plus a wrap and a wheel refurb.

I don't really see the point of a GT3 when compared t an RS

A good point & probably why a lot of people hunt out the silver & white RS'.

It's honestly not something I'd ever have considered, but if you were driving the car day in day out, the RS "safety" colours may grate after a while.
