Informal but good, walking distance of London Victoria

Anyone point us in the direction of a decent, preferably informal/casual restaurant in the general area of London Victoria station? Would ideally be not desperately expensive to boot, at the request of our co-dinees. Oh, and one's a veggie.....

I'd favour Italian but the Olivo group get very bad reviews and there are others which are top-drawer and therefore outside budget. That said, Italian is not a deal-breaker, but the dire over-priced offerings in the immediate vicinity of the station are!
