I say go high, see if anyone bites. Try £25k if it's a good one.

Agreed. £25k with that spec assuming top condition.

Was thinking 24/25K region, so good to see in the ball park. In very good condition, always garaged, had wheels refurbished and front clam resprayed when engine work was carried out.

Agreed - £25K, which is high for a 2.5 but right for a good one.

Hi Ian, sorry to hear your selling. I can concur that it is in very good condition (atleast it was the last time I saw it wink ). That's two Nobles leaving Gods prefurred County-Devon this month!!! We are getting thin on the ground down here now. Only know of three in Devon once Ian's goes.

I have similar spec car to yours and when i was thinking of selling recently the consensus was ask £25k, look to achieve 24k depending how desperate you are for the money.

I'm forever banging on about trying to push values up rather than caning people for high asking prices, so the more you sell it for the better as far as i am concerned !

i have a friend looking around for a toy, but i'm struggling to get him away from an evora or exige despite acknowledging how much he loves Nobles. I'll let him know that you are selling and he might get in touch for more info.

Good luck

Me too wink

IMHO, today's used price ranges should be...

2.5/3.0 - £18-25K
3R - £25-30K
M400 - £30-40K

I say "today's prices" as I feel that the above should increase by around 5% per annum.

Comments/challenges/thoughts respectfully accepted.

Well, I don't think the 2.5 and 3.0 should really be lumped together, and I don't see a £5k difference between the 3 and the 3R.

Apart from that, I think prices are already higher than those - we have seen M400's at £45k and 3R's at £32+.....smile

Really starting to have seconds thoughts now I'm pulling all the cars history together. Have had many great trips to Le Mans etc.
Passion says it must stay, but then I dont do many miles in it now i'm in Devon......

Do you need the money or space? As AMG Rob says, if you don't sell it now it should be worth more year on year. I have a similar dilemna whereby I'm moving house and need to borrow more, my head says that having 30k+ in the garage and borrowing more on a mortgage is stupid but my heart is capable of justifying such things. After all, it justified me buying it in the first place biggrin

You have hit the nail on the head. I have plenty of storage space, a quad garage and a double garage smile
Again it is a money thing, 25K not being used, when I fancy new sails for the windwsurfer, and may be a couple of pinball machines for the games room!!, and the main reason, the wife wants a new patio (all 100m2 of it!)

I have explained to her, if the Noble goes, a high proportion of it needs to be spent on 'boys' stuff.

I regret selling my old TVR 3000s Turbo under similar reasons, but money was required at the time, this is just a cashflow issue for 12/18 months.

If a 2.5 has had all the right mods ("fixes" as I call them) and is putting out near/over standard 3.0 power and torque then what should it be worth? What advantage does the non-R 3.0 give you over that? Early reviews seemed to suggest the 2.5 was a better drive if anything!

Then it should be at the top end of the 2.5 bracket - which may be well into the 3.0 range....?

Thanks.

Going to go for just under 24k. Will sort out a service then a professional valet, and fingers crossed.
