Well of sorts...

Just had a driver turn up here in a 61 plate doom grey MG6. In his words 'What a horrible car'.

So there you go. smile

I may take it for a quick thrash when i've finished my cup of tea.

I was recently pleasantly surprised when I drove the latest 7 speed DSG Fabia VRs 1.4

Really? I found the 7 Speed DSG in the Golf Diesel horrible. Doesn't creep, rolls back etc.

Anyway, Half an Engine, Mounted sideways, with a windmill on the side driving the wrong wheels 1.8 petrol with a Turbo in what is said to be a good chassis. Must be worth a quick driving

Oh and FWIW it's not a customers car.

Depends how unbiased and reasonable you can be. A review of someone just giving personal hate towards a car make is of no interest to anyone with a brain. If you can do an objective review with maybe a few subjective comments, then I'd be very keen to see what you think.

Surely no DSG should creep unless it's broken. It's not an auto box and doesn't have a torque converter confused

Only seen 1 on the road and was pleasently surprised at how nice it looked. I like them in photos anyway but in real life they do look very nice. Much bigger than you would expect, considering its targetting Focus size class. The interior looks a little dated but then I hear there is a facelift on the cards anyway which hopefully will see a new interior.

The MG3 and MG5 look nice too.

Try driving one as an auto in stop & start rush hour traffic. Snatchy, kangarooing rubbishness. Never had a problem with Tiguans, Tourans or Passat DSGs. Just the Golfs*.

I had a look over one 6 months ago for 30 seconds. Absolutely diabolical panel gaps and paint finish. The end.

They have "creep" designed in so it's more like a normal auto to drive. Certainly the Golf diesel I had in France a few years back did.

It's ok. He's a toothless troll.

I'm sure some on here would be keen to hear your views.

I think with cars like MG some will comment negatively no because of any major fault with the product but more to say how that brand is beneath them, stick an Audi badge and daytime running lights on it and they may declare it a triumph, some people are pretty fickle, now I don't expect it is the best in class but I really doubt that it is that bad.

The Audi A1 has appeared on our co car list on the lower grades and some of them are in a frenzy to get what is essentially a Polo such is the pull of the brand and the desire to conform and be seen to be living a premium lifestyle.

The a1 is an ugly lump if crap too. Would rather the polo anyway!
