Child seat in Mk2

Apologies if this is an old question, but the forum search here didn't turn anything up when I tried...
I'm looking for a cheap-ish (sub £100) group 1 child seat for the MX-5 that I use to ferry the little-un back and forth the short distance to nursery. Currently she travels in a rear facing Group 0 that she will very soon grow out of in this car, and for longer trips in the family car she goes in a Britax Duo Plus. This would fit in the MX-5, but I want another seat that I can just leave in the MX-5, but don't wish to spend the £200-odd that the duo plus cost me all over again.
From the efforts of Mothercare, many seats don't fit properly due to the small seat size and long seatbelt buckle stalk. The best option I've found so far is the Britax Eclipse, which their website says fits and I can find for £65.
Does anyone have any other suggestions for this or any experience of the Eclipse?
