Been looking for small powerboat for a while. These ribs have caught my eye, any idea of price or any opinions?

Cheers.

Where have you been looking at them? We sell these and have them on display at our showroom. Just off to bed now but can talk to you more about them tomorrow.

With my sales person's hat off, I can tell you they are fantastic boats at sea, especially in a bit of a chop. Such good fun, very capable, dry and comfortable. The first time I used one I was genuinely surprised at just how good it was, and spent the rest of the demo weekend taking out the Generation over the Ribtec 585 as I preferred it.

I notice a lot of talk on RIB forums about it being too short for Solent waters, bit do note, the tubes are blunt at the stern and the bow, there is no long overhang of sponson at either end like you get on some RIBs, so yes, whilst it may only be 4.3m long, the hull length is also nearly 4.3m. In fact, it has a longer hull waterline length than the Bombard SB500 and I expect even the Ribtec 535, I'd need to measure this tomorrow to confirm. But my point is, it's waterline length and the hull V that matter in a rough sea, something the Generation definitely has over a lot of 5m RIBs on the market.

Thought I recognised your username so went back through your posts. Seems I've had an answer or a comment for quite a few! Let me know if you need anymore help.
