The time has sadly come.I spoke to a dealer today who is interested in taking her off me,going to see him tomorrow for him to look at.I have a price in my mind and have told the dealer what i am after and we have more or less reached an agreement.Have had it 18 months and i'm set to lose 3k yikes he has a Ford ka 2004 reg in i am half interested in,need something that's very cheap to run, will be going througfh the finer details tomorrow.

God,i am going to miss this car, really don't want to let her go cry

Don't really have the time to wait for her to sell and need another car immediately after selling her, managed to find a dealer whome i can quite possibly do a deal with.

3k loss in 18 months seems not bad to me ! I thought I'd be dropping around 6k in 24 months on an 06 plate R53.

Good luck with the change.

Agreed, £3K is not bad in the current market particularly on trade. Waht I got offered was so rubbish I decided that I'd keep the MCS as a track car as it was barely worth selling.

I'm going to lose £3,250,he's offered me £4,750 for her, paid £8,000 for her last janaury! Do any of you guys think that is a fair price? Think i'm probably going to take him up in the offer,as i have no other choice frown in return i'll be buying a very basic Ford ka 53 reg(early 2004) from him for £1,395.By this time next week,i will no longer be the proud owner of a MCS.I'm not a happy bunny, but hey, that's life!!

Bang it in the classifieds for a grand more and you never know . Might be gone at the weekend with more money in the pot. You have nothing to loose. You are getting a fair trade in and paying top money for a KA. A mate on PH had a Volvo, was going to PX it for £700 , stuck on the classifieds, went next day for £1500, no questions asked...............Choice is yours to be honest.

Sorry to hear that, never nice to give something up you get so much enjoyment from. Thinking of selling mine later in the year.

Take it for a final blast over the moors this weekend as a send off and then think of all the money you will save driving the Ka!

Well, the S has now gone.Drove it there without the music on to listen to the supercharger one last time!Surprisingly i didn't get upset when i drove off and left her. The Ford KA which i got actually isn't that bad to drive, you can quite happily throw it about a bit!
