Rear suspension bushes...
Discussion
... where to get them now? I know where you used to be able to get them but now can't, and the 'hard to find' list quotes cmw-tvr who no longer exist, so any clues as to who sells the METALASTIK bushes - NOT the polyurethane things, I don't want those - would be appreciated.
Stu Halls offered me a couple of his spares (thanks Stu) but I need a few more than that to do the job properly.
I've spent more time on the internet than is good for one's sanity trying to pin down a supplier or even just the original car (if there was one)... funny how what you think you know to be correct, often isn't.
Unhelpful Ebay traders don't help: I quote the dimensions of my bush and ask if such-and-such a bush they have listed is anywhere near and they come back and ask for the Metalastik part number. WTF? Can't you just put a vernier caliper across the product you're offering and see if it matches what I need? FFS

RT's website no longer lists parts individually, just an invitation to call them and spend some money
The last catalogue I have of theirs is dated 2003 and only lists polyurethane. So to be fair I haven't tried them; I did imagine that these bushes would be more common than hens' teeth and rocking horse dung but it seems I was mistaken.
