General question about a cars history? anyone know
Discussion
I have been on the DVLA website to get the on line history of a car, the owner of the car tells me the car has ben SORN on and off in the alst 6 years due to working abroad etc etc.
Looking at the MOT report on the DVLA website it shows a gap of 3 years where no MOT has been recorded from 2008 to 2010. I have seen the 2011 which he has and it states this on the on line DVLA site. Mileage adds up as it has done very few miles.
How can i be 100% sure that the car was SORN in these 3 years? where can i find this information? will DVLA be able to tell me when the car has been SORN? as this will then give me the confidence that the car is in fact a very low mileage car.

I'm just being very cautious as the car has only done 11,400miles in 11 years, if I buy the car and then go to sell the car months/years later i want to make sure I can explain and show evidence that it was off the road.
The car looks dry and in very good condition underneath. discs and pads need replacing but that's normal if the car has only done 2,000 miles in 6 years. Thanks Again

My car is sorn on and off, I don't keep records, never thought it was important but I would be more interested in how the car has been stored for that length of time?
I'm not to sure but I'm getting a 12k service on it by a tvr specialist to make sure the Tuscan is tip top

Was it stored with clean engine oil. Better still did it have new oil after storage. Unlikely I guess.Gassing Station | General TVR Stuff & Gossip | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
