Daily driver insurance Subaru Turbo 2000
Discussion
Hi, so I've got access to a Subaru Turbo 2000 and am soon to be finishing my mechanics course at college, I am 22 and would like to take the subaru in on the last day, give everybody something different to look at up on the ramps and stuff, have a poke around in the engine bay and show the car off a bit.
My question is this, does anybody know of a daily insurer who would cover such a 'high performance car' on a daily policy to somebody who is young?

Either:
1) Speak to the policy holder and get them to add you on their policy.
2) Type 'temporary car insurance' into google and try one of the companies offering daily car cover. However, I suspect you will be too young and the car too tasty (high group risk) for them to want to cover it.
3) Get the policy holder to drive the car in for you to fettle on.

I think option 3 will be the best option for you OP, but probably not what you want to hear.1) Speak to the policy holder and get them to add you on their policy.

I'd be suprised if you could get a temp cover on the car with your age. If you did I think it would be a couple of hundred quid.
Thanks for all the advice. I think i'm too young, thats what the sites keep saying. Oddly enough I have no trouble getting quotes for a 535i/330ci (and pretty much anything non subaru with similar pace) for a day, it just seems that subuarus are a no go.
Oh well if you dont ask you dont get.
