How many TVR owners call there car Trevor? :spin:
Discussion
Ours is generally: "The Tiv". Occasionally "The Chimaera" and in humourous moments is...
"Trevor The Tivver"
Oh *dear*.
I once toyed with writing a childrens book along the lines of Thomas the Tank Engine with characters like:
Name - Character
"Katy The Chimaera" - very beautiful with a tendency to preen.
"Cyril The Cerbera" - Very fast but not too bright.
"Gary The Griffith" - Always grubby. Mechanic sort of chap.
"Trevor The Tuscan" - Upper crust kind of chap. Bit of a cad but a charmer.
There were more once but I forget. I wonder if there's a market for it with nicely done cartoons. YOu know...the TVRs foil some evil crime by going very quickly and as a reward spend the night in the factory with "Great Uncle Peter" smoking his pipe and saying good-night.
Bizarre idea I know...

(Trevor is a cheap English derivative of Trefor, which is the original Welsh spelling in case you were wondering).
I don't think so, it's just that the English have been too polite for hundreds of years to point out that although the Welsh pronounce it correctly, they've been mis-spelling it all that time . .
Ah, yes, coat? Mine's the red Hein Gericke . .

My Audi is called 'the Panzer' or 'the Heinkel' by some of my mates. For some reason they think I'm going to invade Poland with it.
I wish mine were thus honored. My wife calls it "your stupid car". I think the old quattro does look like a panzer though (Jagdpanther specifically).
My kit car was called Nelly because my mother thought I'd never finish it and called it my White Elephant. I haven't given names to the cars I've owned since then. The mini might get a name in the future (then again maybe not) but I do find I talk to it. (must be a sign that I'm going
