There was a thread a while ago with some recommendations for suitable ear defenders for a child, but for the life of me I can't get the search to point me in the right direction. Does anybody have a link to the thread? Or suggestions about ear defenders that go over the ear that will fit a 5 year old?

We are off to the Goodwood Festival of Speed and I am hoping there will be some LOUD cars there :-)

Not the cheapest, but I've just got my duaghter a set of these, absolute top quality:-

You can get them on various other sites cheaper, you don't have to go direct.

I bought a pair of these in advance - my little one is only 6 months but they actually fit her now and she doesn't seem to want to rip them off her head like she does with most other things, looks cute too smile

I asked this question in the Le Mans forum a while back and bought the peltors for my son. Great ear defenders - I had him trackside when the Group Cs were on as well as the main race and I don't think he could hear a thing! When the main race was on though he did seem to suss to follow my finger and see the cars which he then watched with some interest smile As someone else said, he seemed to find them comfortable and never once tried to move them - in fact whenever we put them on he burst out laughing, I assume as things sound funny.
