Hi guys, so im trying to put my bonnet back on, do i just put one plastic ring on each side and a bolt through it for the hinges? I'm having trouble having that fit. aka can someone take a close up picture of how their bonnet is fixed so i know which rings go where.

It is just the bolt and the plastic / rubber washer in the middle. I find the best way to fit it is to put the bonnet in the well behind the head lights ( i usally put some rag in here to save the paint) Fit the the gas struts so the bonnet will stay up. Then on each side put the bolts in so they are just showing in the middle then with a set of long nosed pliers or narrow tweezers offer i the rubber washer and then pust through the bolt. Then lift the the bonnet gently to align the bolts to the hole anf screw in a few threads. Do the same with the other side. Tightnen up but do not over tighten... then keep an eye on the bolts as they like to loosen over time!

Jobs a good en!! I can do this on my own in 15 mins now!

There should be a bolt, washer, bonnet, washer, body on each side. On inspection the washers on mine appeared to be a rubber grommit cut in half.

I have drilled and wired my bolts so they don't unscrew.
