Payment for returning a vehicle at end of lease

I currently have a C1 on a PCP agreement (Elect 3) which comes to an end in October. I've recently received a letter asking which of the three options I would like to choose.

I will be returning the car, but was surprised at being asked for a further payment of over £200 for "the final payment of the insurance element". What insurance is this for? I certainly didn't sign up for any PPI scheme and we have a private motor insurance policy. Considering this is around double the monthly payment, this seems unreasonable. Do I stand any chance of contesting it?

Yep, you need to read the terms of your original agreement.

I've gone through the terms and can't find anything regarding this insurance element. I've sent off an email asking for an explanation and breakdown of the charges, so we'll see where it goes from here.
