Hi folks

When shopping around to insure the Chimp I was told several times that had I had experience of performance cars or had Driver Training of some sorts then my quotes would probably be cheaper.

So, knowing the best performance modification you can make is the Driver and also wanting cheaper insurance, can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Advanced Driver Training or similar courses that are recognised by insurance companies would be good thumbup Failing that, any advice is always appreciated.

Cheers

IAM is the best known but I've never found it makes much difference to quotes. Although saying that their insurance broker is excellent and will beat any other quote.

You could try HPC or CAT driver training but they're only likely to be recognised by very specialist companies.

I'll take a look at those. I had the impression though, that they were talking more about performance related driving.

Are there any courses like that, you know, legal hooning driving
