Not really worth a topic probably but I was reading the latest Top Gear magazine and came across an article on the F10 M5 which they have just brought into their fleet.

The author of the article was practically masturbating over the F10 which is fine whatever your into great car etc...

That was all OK until the part where he described the glorious 5 litre V10 from the old M5 as "peaky and strangely irritating" (if I remember correctly).

I don't know why but it just wound me up. If I ever get to a point where I'm irritated by a 5 litre V10 that sounds like it does then well it's time to give up and buy a people carrier.

I shouted at the mag when I read that.....real stupid comment.

The F10 is a great thing, but I'm not alone in thinking that the E60 is far more exciting to drive.....peaky V10 my arse!!
