Just buzzed by 4 GR4s

Just been buzzed by two flights of two GR4's in gloomy Surrey here. Unusual to get any fast jet activity here at all headed South east at fairly low level and not hanging around at full sweep angle.

Especially unusual on a Saturday evening. Going for a bit of Syrian action perhaps?

Well thats what I thought but they only had one static and two flyng so the numbers don't add up. Also we are east of Guildford here so not remotely on what would be on their flight path home, unless they were headed for the continent!

Some of my friends from RAF Marham are heading to mainland Europe today for a det so they may well have been off abroad.

Role demo was due at Losely park http://www.loseleypark.co.uk/events between 5 -6 pm probably that although not sure why there would be 4 unless your seeing double

It's not the marham jets off on det, they left Friday. Outside of role demo, I've got no idea.

If you've ever worked on Tornados you'll understand exactly why you've seen double the number of jets than you need!

Role demo and two spares? Since they knackered both with state two's at coningsby's Fam day practice on the fri, and had to fly another down.
