Now i've been using the car for a few weeks (wifes car) some little niggles have started to annoy me, the car looks great and i think it handles well

the instrument dials are partly obscured by the wheel

the speedo numbers are 20, 40, 60 etc but our speed limits are 30, 50, 70 so its harder to check your speed at a glance

when the seats back in my position i cant get my hand to the dial for the back adjustment as the pillar in the way

the cup holders seem ok for a can but bottles of pop go flying into the footwell

the armrest when down means you cant fit the bottle into the cup holder anyway and its hard to get to my seatbelt buckle

the dna system, once on the move the dynamic mode is quite good the map is a little aggressive at slow speeds but thats no issues it should stay in the last mode though when you turn the car off and then restart (possible software upgrade)?

the alarm beeps everytime you lock/unlock,

when you open the boot water collects in the little plastic recess where the latch is

the panel covering the chassis number fell off and down into the hole drivers side floor

on the plus side she loves it, and the performance (170bhp diesel) is really good love the torque it makes for good progress i like the daytime running lights and the bluetooth phone hands free, decent size boot as well.

its just a few little niggles like the speedo dial, cuprest, armrest and position of rear recline dial which is a shame as really quite minor things that you think could have been sorted in development or is it just me?

just a little rant really, hopefully will get some 18 inch oe upgrade alloys for it soon as i think that should suit the car really well. im happy with cars having different quirks as adds to character but some of these seem to be design issues rather than quirks.

Alfa do have a habit of not developing out irritating but easy to sort faults.

Look on the bright side, looks good, goes fast, nothing else matters...

Where have I heard that before...

My GT has all the exact same features. And that was built in 2006. wink

The instrument dials don't move with the wheel do they? I presume you know that you can adjust the steering wheel position up, down, in and out?
