Mx5 1996 chassis rust

Hi I looked at a 1996 mx5 yesterday with 57000 miles all looked ok but was un sure of the underneath how rusty should it be
Can any 1 tell me if this is ok or to avoid

That isn't chassis rust.

Your looking at the exhaust and rear suspension carrier, they look fine.

Where you should be looking is the rear arches for filler, inside the wheelarch especially the front wall of it and poking it hard to see if it is still metal, under the sills where the sill meets the floor, along the inside edge of the drivers side chassis rail where the bolts for pipework go, along the outer sill including in to the front wing and the front nose of the front wings where they join the bumper.
