Went to Bridlington Charity Cruise last night with my fiancée. She saw one of her exes there who has just saved up some hard-earned cash for a cheap runabout.

Well last night he was travelling in a convoy on the way back to Leeds and (according to accounts from friends) as he was driving down the a64, he was faced with a Corsa coming towards him going the wrong-way down the dual carriageway. He obviously wanted to avoid a head on so as he swerved he spun the car and then rolled it - being a 106 it didn't hold up very well.

The driver of the corsa then went further up the carriageway the wrong way, turned round and drove past the scene of the accident! At this point, a couple of skylines from the convoy gave chase and alerted the police to the cars location.

They arrested him for dangerous driving and drink driving.

Luckily, the people in the 106 weren't seriously injured but the poor lads 106 is a write off and I'm guessing he can't claim off the drink driver as he didn't hit him?!

Be careful out there guys!

Yep, there are a lot of s out there. My wife was driven off the road by a joyrider round there and spent 2 weeks in a coma after barrel rolling her car through a field.

Glad your pal is ok.

Glad he's ok.
I nearly went off the road today after a Renault Scenic idiot overtook in a blind bend in front of me.
He actually forced an Astra off the road so he didn't go head on with me, many honks were made then.
There's some fking idiots out there!

The insurance don't have to know that,

I pulled out to pass on a three lane road yesterday and quickly pulled back in as there was already a car in the middle lane coming the other way. He wasn't passing anything but had chosen to take the racing line on the very gradual bend. He went past me flashing lights and jesticulating. If he'd done that to me a few years ago he wouldn't have got off with simply being ignored. Some tw4ts need to be grateful that people mellow with age.
