Here you go!

I think it looks good from the front, a bit Batman from the rear and the interior doesn't look too bad either!

I agree. Not sure why they didn't stick with the original rear. Much nicer IMHO.

The original dash wash automotive art too!

Just needed the new pod and it would be perfect..

Oh well

I like! (although I still prefer the original)

Plus it might just be me but the gap between the rear arch and wheel seems rather large.

Just one stalk if I recall, on the right of the steering column - Cerbera stylee.

Having seen the Tuscan 2 in the flesh at the motor show and at Le Mans,I prefer the Tuscan 1 to be honest.

I dont like the new front end - too fussy, it may be better aerodynamically but I like the smooth lines of the T1 - I even prefer the cheese grater grill.

Rear - not too sure about the fog a& reversing lights, however I like the new rear light clusters. I never liked the gurney flap on the original Tuscan S and this larger flap looks even worse.

I love the original Tuscan interior with the aluminium and brass and although the old radio pod looked a bit out of place the new one seems like a bulky add on. The change to the T350 style pod may improve instrument visibility but I would prefer the old one.

Maybe I'm getting old and don't like change any more but not a change for the better as far as I am concerned.

All IMHO of course.

I don't like the front indicators and the reversing/foglights. Its the chrome surrounds that makes them look like an after thought rather than something as a cohesive part of the design. Infact, I agree with the comments on here. The original design seemed more graceful - both inside and out. What they have done is to make it look fussy IMHO. I am basing this purely on photos though as I have not seen a finished car in the flesh - only those that have popped out of the moulds.

It was a bold move to give the model a facelift, but not as successful as facelifts they have given other models such as the Chim and Griff - where the changes have been subtle improvements. I am sure the new Tuscans will be a superb drive though - no doubt about that!

Also agree with the other points above - although I think the front is ok, I think the back (particularly the spoiler thing) to be extremely unattractive. Inside is ok but has lost some of its magic.

What a disgusting car!!!! Bring back the MK1...

Flipping horrid if you ask me...

OH, and if you drop the rear suspension a foot or two it might actually look like a sports car!

I think the front looks fab. Is the rear really as high as it looks ? I wonder if they tried to raise the rear to do something aerodynamically (I think I read the rear suspension of a Tuscan has to be higher than the front) ?

Looks better in the flesh but I'm not sure about the reverse/fog light with the car painted in black.

The new all digital pod must be about sharing parts versus anything inherently wrong with the old pod. "Pod wobble" as has been mentioned being the reason for change is normally down to the tyres being out of balance.

Cheers,

Andy.

Editted to add - I forgot to talk the Mk1 used prices up. The Mk2 is flipping horrible, the original design is much better. I'll never sell my lovely car

All the rears are high when they are brand new. I still think you have to see the car in the flesh.

I can just about get on with the front of the new T2, but my feelings for it get worse as it goes back.

The interior doesnt seem as stylish as the T1, it doesnt have the same wow factor. I am quite happy with my POD on T1 rattles a small amount but when you have such a work of art in front it doesnt seem to matter.

The back ! Well lights not to bad. But the Rear spoiler and the "Jacked Up" rear are a bit vulgar. It really doesnt need the spoiler ( a subtle one would be better). But whats going on with the gap between the top of the rear tyre and the wheel arch. It does seem " Jacked up" or it could be the angle of the photo.

From the Photos I still prefer the T1, but I would like to see the T2 in the flesh in something other than Black.

I think it will be very different in a lighter colour, say silver, or even a steel grey.

Agree about the light surrounds, would look better in body colour, but perhaps this was a request?

I do really like it, but it's down to individual taste of course. The rear spoiler is a little overpowering, but hay, its a TVR Tuscan, it is supposed to be loud after all.

The only real dislike I have to it is the Tuscan S badge slapped on the front. Aren't model inscriptions best left to the rear?

Agreed. I always hated the S spoiler too, and the new one is truly disgusting.. unless you like to impressed the Neds outside Staples.

Front.. yuk: griff type lights. so old fashioned. And the lip looks just as crappy as it did on the S

back end: non descript.

does nothing for me. glad I got a mk1 (well.. your mk1 to be accurate)

First real look I've had at the new Tuscan pics.

I cannot believe how a shape so pure was destroyed and turned into this! The flawless lines of the Tuscan were first fiddled with on the TuscanS. This gave birth to the questionable rear end and spoiler. Fair enough, the spolier had to be put on for the aerodynamics. The lights then had to be changed as I think the space would have looked strange between the spoiler and the original lower set rear lights. Also, it does set it apart from the non S's and gives it a mean, ready to race look.

I understand they have to make a clear difference whilst keeping the links to the original car but bloody hell. The rear is an absolute disaster. The front looks like a Tuscan in Griff drag. It does not fit the car that the Tuscan is. A svelte, lethal, sexy, powerful, unique, gorgeous road car with a great interior.

I think you really have to question where they are going with their design philosophy. We don't want or need any Bangle types getting ideas up in Blackpool do we? If you are going to design a new car, fair enough. Just don't make a hash of a classic.

I hope so. Buying a TVR is based on how stunning the damn thing is. Obviously you see the thing before you drive it and this just isn't worthy of the badge. They can do much, much better and they know it. IMHO of course but I am sure I am not alone. I think the more honest comments about the styling the better. I am sure some threads make it back to the factory.

I have to say I really do prefer the original shape too...

I'm sure they could have kept the interior the same with a few enhancements to prevent pod wobble and sun glare.

Perhaps an automatic spoiler can be developed like the Porsche etc?
