MOT Test question regarding 13 months MOT

My MOT is up on 17 July, and I can't find the certificate. If I take it for a retest today will I get my 13 (ish) months MOT or will I simply get 12 months? I know you used to have to take the certificate to get this, but as its all online wondered what the situation was now.

Automatic now, the computer will give you a 13 month certificate if you're owed one.
