Gift PPR to Son for IHT

For IHT if gift my main residence to my son do I need to change all the utilities etc into his name?

Not if you live there and pay rent.

Has to be at current cmmercial market rents. Otherwise it is a gift with reservation of title i.e. not a gift at all.
