HI there!

I'm thinking of changing my S3 for a 4.2 Cerb, I've got a test drive booked for the weekend with the local dealer - what should i look for (oil pressure, temps etc) and any driving tips (as only used to a V6 S!!!) and what should / shouldn't I do?.

Thanks in advance

Chris

Hoorah, that'll make three of us in Brum, I think.

What year is it, what warranty are they giving you, how many miles ?

If your going to buy from a dealer, then hopefully there won't be much wrong with the car !

Things to check
Full (up to date) service history
Front upright recall has been done
No juddering under braking
That when you finish the test drive, your smiling like an idiot !

Best thing to do is do a search on this forum - there are so many things you can check, it would take me ages to re-type them !

1 of the nice things about buying from a dealer thoguh, is if something isn't quite right once you have the car, your well within your rights to take it back & get is sorted...
