Cars you didn't know existed...

Saw this on Detailing World today...

Its a Subaru Forester Sti apparently! Had never even heard of it before, let alone see one on the road or in a magazine/TV show. Obviously I was aware of the Impreza Sti, but didn't realise they did a Forester Sti, it's not even on Parkers.
Now you'll all tell me they are as common as a Yaris or something, and I've been living in a cave for 5 years....

Saw an original VW pickup yesterday for the first time, think it was an E reg. Looked pretty mint for the age. First time i saw or heard of such a thing. Apparently same front end as a Golf?
I take it you're very young?VW Caddy pickups used to be everywhere - they're Mk1 Golf based.
Although they're not the 'original VW pickup' - that would be a T2 pickup.

There is one of them parked by Monorep Vauxhall in Southall each Saturday morning. Not in mint condition. For example, the bloke that owns it has repared a rust patch by welding a roadworks Diversion sign onto the side and painting the car Red Oxide. Its a fantastic bit of (Shi)Kit.VW Caddy pickups used to be everywhere - they're Mk1 Golf based.

Can't remember its name but it's a Subaru Legacy front.
There is probably dozens of JDM cars we know nothing about.

Not sure why, though....

It may have been a Daewoo, I just recognised it as a Ssangyong Musso.
The Ssangwoo is one of them badge engineering projects. I cant even remember what the Woo was called. Could even be the Daewoo Musso, in a shocking display of not trying to hide the fact that two cars are built on the same line.nsmith1180 said:

Or perhaps a shocking display of Daewoo buying PpingPpong and rebadging the range into the new corporate branding?HeatonNorris said:
