The Super Car Event - thank you to Richard - M12 dude

A personal thank you to Richard the owner of an M12 GTO that made the best of a bit of a mix up for me. To explain......... in short the volunteers did not know where people should be so when i went up with my b'day present a chose your car ride (double the cost of the normal ticket), my heart was set to complete a life's ambition, to get a go in an Enzo. I was sent to the wrong que the volunteers took my paperwork and run and a rather coarse woman grabbed me by the arm and said you in the blue one...I said don't I get to chose my car, she laughed and said NO...... At this point i was holding up a GTR that was going out on track so I ate humble pie and got out of the way and into the M12 feeling a little deflated.

A Noble is not a car I would normally feel deflated about getting in but in truth I was. At which point i got chatting to my driver Richard (IIRC) whom duly took his M12 by the scruff of the neck and showed me what an M12 can do.......which is a lot apparently . Overtaking most every car out there and really giving me an idea what 350 bhp / ton and fine chassis can do, top bloke. Got a cool video of the laps too :-)

I should also give a special mention to the guy on the way in - best car park attendant ever - Staring at an empty runway with a few cars at the far end, he said dont ask what the last guy did, how fast can i go.......... he then leaned in and said, give it beans son...... TC off and all four wheels lit up down the runway - what a great start to the event !
