Hello All,

I need some help..! Arrival of baby number one is immanent and I want to change my fun car/ daily driver which is currently a Clio 182. We also run in the family my wife's VW Golf GT TDI and a Lwb VW Transporter T4 converted into a camper. I would really like the next car go have 300+ bhp or capable of tuning to that, four doors and isofix although choice seems limited and given our other cars this is not an essential as most of the time I'm in it on my own, any thoughts/ideas? The budget is about £5000 which could be stretched if absolutely needed to..

Originally and cause Ive always wanted one I was looking at Mitsubishi Evos but no isofix unless it's a IV onwards. Other cars which have sprung to mind are an M3 but three doors only, skyline same issue, alfa 159, golf R32, Audi S3, impreza but not keen on build quality. Am I overlooking something, any help appreciated?

Happy driving.. smile

Sorry should've mentioned I owned an A6 one car prior to the Clio so keen to go on a different tack this time, nothing wrong with Audi estates just been there done that if I could afford it an RS4 would be fine. Great valid suggestions though and thanks. I guess regarding the benefits of our other cars I'm looking for something more powerful less practical and space not so much of an issue but ideally still with isofix for the odd occasion?

Thanks again keep any thoughts coming..

Very left field but what about?

Same engine as the 350z, and supposed to be a pretty good steer. Don't know about bhp though. Auto is a tiptronic I think, which might be an issue if you are worried about that kind of thing.

Otherwise what about a Jag S-type R? 400bhp and a family friendly body.

Those "comfy" seats will do nothing to mask the vibrations coming from the non-existent suspension. A Lexus is a good idea, just not one that's been raped like the above.

If that pic is being used to sell the car, it might have been better NOT to park it where it looks like the sump has emptied its contents all over the road...
