Failing driving test due to bad seating position?

I saw a young girl having a driving lesson today, and honestly her face was about 2in from the steering wheel. Surely this can't be safe, if she had an accident she would be decapitated by the air bag.

So would she pass seated like that? And if not, how/why was her instructor letting her sit like that!

I was walking the dogs today as a learner was passing. After creeping around a left hander at <20, which she misjudged and ended up on the wrong side, she steered right for me. I've never had such a slow panic moment ever

I stepped up onto the verge to avoid the twerp, and she passed with eyes awide, hands glued to the steering wheel, and a rather embarrassed wave from the instructor.

If they don't understand the basics, they should be kept off the road until they do. A friend was put through a half dozen lessons before he was allowed out of the tesco's car park. Yes, he was that bad!!!

Some of these lady drivers would be better setting a bomb off between their milkers rather than being in an airbag inflating accident such is their proximity to their steering wheels !
