Can anyone help out with this.

It fell from the fuse box area under the dash on the nearside. I cannot fathom out where it is from or what it was for? Everything seems to work. I have the wedge bible and it isnt helping much.

Its a small, shaped wire with a diode inline and a spade terminal either side.

Thanks
John

When you say everything works, are you sure?????

It looks suspiciously like the diode fo the pop up lights.

Look closely at the relay board, you may well find a small block tacked on the side of it with matching spade terminsl sockets.

As suggested it could be the headlamps, if you turn your lights on (side then main) and they pop up then drop down again with lights on that's the kiddie, I believe !!! its to do with holding current on the motors as you go from sides to main until the switch gear has fully moved.
If it is you can get these at any place like RS Components or Maplins, sorry I don't have the number to hand.
Cheers

Thanks - I will check when it comes back from the garage. I did check the headlights but I may have missed something as they all seemed to work and they def went up..

Maybe I need to drink more wine.

I will post separate re another emerging issue....

Thank you

Thanks Jim. I will bear that in mind. I'm not sure it's broken, I think its just come out of its holder and I cant work out where. The wiring diagram isnt that easy to follow and the fuse box is so TVR. It's hanging on a couple of insulocks in the passenger footwell.

If anyone has a photo of their fusebox with a similar type wire installed so I can compare I'd be grateful.

Oh how Ive missed TVR...
