Loton Park hillclimb charity day --passenger rides!!

The club that operates the Loton Park Hillclimb, is having their annual charity day called 'Party in the Park' Motorpsort Festival this saturday, 30th June.
Essentially, club members use their road cars to take passengers up the hill to give them a taster of the hillclimb experience. Tickets are purchased from the paddock office by emmebers of the public and handed over to any car waiting in the paddock queue. the money goes to charity, and the ticket holder gets a thrilling ride up one of the most technical and longest hillclimbs in the country.
recent years have seen numerous TVRs, Porsches, Ferraris, kit cars, Dodge Vipers and the odd loon in a mitsubishi pickup! taking passengers.
The experience is at speed albeit not 11/10ths ;-)
static displays, catering, stands, oh, and a bar! all on site.
ive been a few times, great fun for kids, and big kids ;-) (ok i enjoyed it even more than my kids!!)

whilst i live 2mins away, i shall be at Anglesey Ty Croes for the Swinging Sixties race instead-doh!
when ive done the charity day in the past, it always makes me smile the difference between the kids and grown ups.
The grown ups are shocked and sometimes a little scared after the run, whereas the kids are beaming and just wanna do it again and again. Most seem to have spectated there before and are amazed at how narrow and blind the hill is in equal measure.
Have fun guys, hope its a good dry day :-)
(unlike Angle-in-the-sea, which will almost certainly be rain lashed...)

I'm back at Anglesey in TVR champ in august, might squeeze in a bit of windsurfing too if winds die down a bit by then
