The column switch works fine according to the little meter and when I put the horn across the battery it sounds like a ‘f**t in a can’.
According to the alternative list for TVR the horns are a Unipart GGE 151/152 (low and high, snail shell type) I have been offered a horn for Triumph or Golf ref GGE 164/165 (low and high).

Can anyone tell if the GGE164/165 is OK to use, or is it that any type of horn will do? - Thanks in advance.

Horns generally come in a pair. Hi and Low tone. You've probably had one fail, hence the flat as a fart tone.

You should be able to fit pretty much any horns provided they fit and are 12v.
I've got an air horn fitted - before me I hasten to add - but I quite like La Cucaracha hehe

Just bought a pair of these for my S3.

As said, any 12 volt horn (or horns) should work.

I wouldn't read too much into the different part numbers, the same horn with an extra bracket thrown into the box gets a different part number number.

They are either 12v flat or snail types, single or double (separate earth) connection, high and low tone - take your pick.

I thought this would be the case, that any 12V horn would do, but you never know with TVRs, hence better to ask the knowledge pool, will be ordering this afternoon from the UK, way to expensive here.

Thanks everyone for the contribution of help.
