Door handles?

Are the door handles for the 3 and 3R from a Ford Mondeo or escort etc...?

Would be nice if they were colour coded....or that you could get caps for them.

Or just get rid of them totally and put buttons in under the mirrors?

My mate had that on his TVR Chim but it had problems and could never lock it properly.
