CSR Rear Brake Callipers.
Discussion
Hello. Following on from the CR500 tyre thread, and not wishing to Hi-Jack it.
Can someone tell me for definite, if the CSR callipers are indeed, alluninium?
If so, what they weigh, and what the pad dimensions/area is?
And, are they originally from a Golf or Polo?
I understand the CSR rear disc Dia. is 260mm, am I correct?
TIA,
Mick.

Yes, they are aluminium.
Here is some information about the calipers: http://csr.informe.com/forum/which-audi-model-are-...
The Pagid part number for the pads is 1158. Maybe that can help you to find the pad area.
