New Museum for Porsche

Works starts next year

Porsche Boss Wendelin Wiedeking has revealed that a new museum is to be built at Stuttgart Zuffenhausen.

Work will start next year and the new facility is designed to hold eighty cars compared to the twenty that the current facility can accomodate. A workshop will also be built at the site allowing visitors to see restorations in progress.

Everytime I'm in Stutgart I lothe that the Mercedes museum is fantastic and that the Porsche museum isn't worth the train ride. I hope they do somthing that allows them to show more than a dozen of their exhibition cars.

Not before time. I visited the Porsche museum two years ago and found it interesting but disppointingly small and unimpressive.

mind you as almost everything they make looks like a 911 do they really need more space.
