Sheilas' Wheels cheapest for non-Sheila insurance.
Discussion
Not too sure what to make of this.
Last time I checked I definitely was not a Sheila, but whatever car I put in confused.com, the cheapest decent insurance including the extras when paying monthly is Shelias' Wheels.
Now I am including my wife on the car as a named driver, but really, I thought they were only for women drivers, and what the hell am I going to do with handbag cover?
Any one else comfortable enough with their masculinity to admit they are getting similar results?

Is this something to do with the European ruling that says you can't discriminate between men and women for car insurance any more?

All insurance companies should adher to this by the end of the year so a lot of insurers are having to change the ratings they use and also open up the books to both sexes equally. Obviously they would rather try and get you on the books sooner rather than later so that would explain why insurers such as Sheila's wheels are now looking more favourable on us men
