Tyre problem

Gents,

I am struggling to find anyone locally that can remove one of the rear tyres. Demon Tweeks are about 50 miles from me and are happy to remove me of the contents in my wallet and undertake the task .... but before I make the double-trip I would be grateful if anyone knows of a firm in the Wirral/Liverpool area that could assist.

Don't wish to upset you but if it's an old tyre, I would just cut it off - a jig-saw/hacksaw will do it if you're careful with the rims. Otherwise, I'm sure any local tyre place that has a good reputation will take interest and special care for you - the equipment they use is pretty common to even specialist places I guess.

Any tyre fitting station should have no problem removing or refitting those tyres.

Thats what I thought Steve ... one reputable place couldn't fit a 335 on the machine and the other couldn't break the tyre wall ...

Have found somewhere a little closer to home but am still shocked at the reactions I've had. My local BMW dealer said they wouldn't even dream of attempting it!
