Picked up my Chim 500 last weekend and want to get rid of a couple of stonechips on the lower front of the car. The colour is Imperial blue which I thought was a ford colour as per on the focus RS, mondeo st200 etc but I cant find this in Halfords (there are about 300 other ford blues!).

Anyone know if this is a ford colour and if so, does it have a different name?

Cheers,

Matt

Yeah, mines Imperial Blue too, and I got a touch-up set from my local ford spares place.

Same colour as the Mundano ST200, Fester Zetec S, and Crocus RS, amongst others.

Looks far better on a Chim though.....

why not just ring TVR bodyshop and get them to send you a pot using the paint code on the vin plate?

I know the bodyshop will be able to supply but I figured that if it was a common ford colour, I could pick some up locally. Ive got a big stonechip on the lower valance that has really started to bug me and I was hoping to fix it this weekend!

Anyone know if the bodyshop still do those colour matched chipsticks?

cheers squirrelz, will see if I can get some paint from my local ford place.

Go to your nearest Ford dealer who will be able to supply it, that's what I did with mine. Very helpful they were too.
