Focus MK1 Rear Wheel Bearing
Discussion
Hi Guys
I have removed the rear wheel and hub of my father-in-Laws Mk1 1.8 focus to change the bearing.
I have found that the existing bearing is a tapered bearing/race on the hub and a pressed in bearing with a tapered recess on the brake drum. This is different to the straight bearing kit I have bought as a replacement.
Is this a direct replacement or do I have the wrong bearing. All of the Pics I see on Ebay etc are the straight bearing that I have.
Also will I need a press to get the old bearing out of the drum
Thanks
Trevor
