Bagged a couple of woodies earlier, any recipe suggestions?

Simple ish as not feeling massively motivated tonight!

Cut the breasts off and pan-fry them for a warm salad. I used redcurrant jelly and a splash of red wine to loosen it:



Save the carcasses for stock.

Why not just eat them raw?
Better yet, why not just eat them by the side of the road?

Pretty much did this ^

Though mine didn't look as good but did taste lush, forgot just how good pigeon tastes!

Yep, wasn't much to them but still nice. Took 8 cartridges to get 2 birds too.....barn door etc, so made them even more satisfying!
