Was this in America then? How come so many of the cars are on UK plates? Great pictures though, thanks for sharing

The show was at a boarding school in Connecticut. UK plates look so 'right' on many of these cars and therefore make a very nice period-correct accessory. No one gets stopped by the police for having one of these 'accessory' plates; at least not very often even in states which require a front plate (like CT). The fine is minimal, so who cares.

I think there were only 2. It is surprising, especiailly considering there were around 7 or 8 Vanqs.
