Geo returned to Factory Settings

Went to Buckley Tyres and asked them to compare the current set up to that which it should have been when it left the factory.

You can see how just over 3 years of driving 16k miles has moved the original settings considerably. In fact it took the technician about an hour to arrive back at the meaurements it was originally intended to be at (excluding Sports Pack).



Difficult to explain how the car drives now - sometimes these things can be psychological - but it does feel firmer and the steering is more accurate and responsive.

Looking forward to driving it more and getting more used to these new settings.

certainly a geo check/correct can revitalise a car ...its surprising how under "normal driving" it goes out so much under time....but is rarely seen on a service schedule

When I had my FRS settings removed and the car set back to factory specs I did ask for them to be set as close to the actual setting as possible since there is quite a leeway in some of te factory specs.

I was pleased when they were just about all absolutely spot on and to be honest he car didn't feel any different to when it had the FRS apart from the steering wheel having been set straight!

Going to need some rears soon and refuse to pay over inflated dealer prices...

I have a couple of times
Not always the cheapest but workmanship is great.

They know how to deal with TPMS and if you need more info I'm sure Lunablack has had extensive tyre dealings with them, though he goes elsewhere for his Geo

Just looking at your print out again I'm drawn back to the fact nearly every single setting was out at the start

I bought the car at 1 year old - do you think the geo had been played with before I bought it ???

I've never seen one so far out, and it may explain my hitherto undertaker driving technique (thanks Retman, that has stuck in my head)

How did the house viewings go ??

I don't think they come out the factory too accurate but a couple years of kerbing will do that
No luck on the houses
Luna may well have squatters if this keeps up
